IPPG will assign a unique and memorable user name for system users; ideally this would be the person’s e-mail. Passwords will be automatically generated and sent to the user securely via email or fax. Users will have the ability to change their password to something personally memorable. Role-based access and privileges will allow users to: review and place orders electronically, obtain draw status (not results), review patient information and service history as well as view reports in some cases.
There are minimum requirements for any personnel to access the system.
- Kaiser employee user’s computer system must meet current minimum standards as per Kaiser’s own internal IT department.
- Windows XP (service pack 3), Windows 7, Windows Vista
- Mac OSX 10.4.x or better

- Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 on XP computers or Internet Explorer 8 on Windows 7 computers
- Mozilla Firefox 4.x or better
- Google Chrome (all versions)
No other browsers are supported by our system. If a user is on an older computer that is not current per IPPG’s and Kaiser’s own internal IT standards, then that computer will need to be updated to the Kaiser standards before accessing our systems. Order entry by non-compliant computers/browsers could be subject to error, therefor access by non-Kaiser compliant computers is restricted.
